5:20 p.m. update: City Light now says they’ve restored power to 1,596 customers scattered around a wide portion of Ballard. The cause is unknown, although My Ballard reader J.D. reported a loud flash and bang at Market and 28th at 3:55 p.m., precisely when City Light said the outage occurred. We were unable to locate any activity at the location.
