Medical marijuana dispensaries are opening all over Seattle. In fact Conscious Care Cooperative is the newest one in Ballard located in the old Seattle Eye space at the corner of 17th Ave NW and NW Market Street.

With the boom of dispensaries, the legality of such establishments has become a gray area. Meghan Walker and Lucas Anderson from the University of Washington’s Entrepreneurial Journalism class taught by our partners, the Common Language Project, look at the issue and talk to experts about medical marijuana. They also attend a cannabis farmers market in Wallingford.
