A noted furniture maker will make a pair of appearances at Digs (2002 NW Market St) next week.

Referred to by Digs as one of their “favorite furniture makers,” Matt Eastvold of Eastvold Furniture, a small, rural Minnesota company that designs and builds furniture meant to stand the test of time and be passed down from generation to generation, will be on hand on August 7 and 9 for a pair of intimate events.

On Thursday evening, Matt will discuss the company’s history, inspiration, and sustainable practices starting at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided, but space is limited. Attendees are asked to email RSVP@digsshowroom.com as soon as possible to reserve a seat and swag bag.

On Saturday, people are invited to stop by and check out Eastvold’s work on the showroom floor, and ask Matt about his work and life in Minnesota during the monthly Ballard Art Walk.

One attendee will receive Eastvold’s new palm shelf, free of charge.
