Nearly three decades ago, 15-year-old Sara Beth Lundquist got off a bus at 85th St. and 24th Ave. to walk home after watching a movie with a friend. She was kidnapped, raped and murdered. The case had been unsolved until recently, when DNA tests tied Clarence Williams to the killing. Williams had been serving time for another murder, but he was sentenced today for 30 more years in prison. “Sara Beth had a sweet, innocent, happy spirit,” said her monther in court. “Her spirit is in all of us here today.”
