Seattle’s Landmark Preservation Board, which will vote later this month on whether the Ballard Denny’s is protected, concluded that the Seattle Greyhound bus station is not a city landmark. Workers remodeled the 1927 station in the 1960s, and the board concluded that the remodel compromised the building’s architectural integrity. This is exactly what the owners of the Ballard Denny’s now claim. Sign to come? Or apples to oranges? We’ll know on February 20th.
