Ballard artist Alden Mason now showing

I didn’t know that popular local artist Alden Mason, 88, lives in the Locke Vista apartments right here in Ballard. (Now that I think about it, I remember the stories about him not wanting to move out.) Anyway, Mason opens tonight in two Pioneer Square galleries: Foster/White and Greg Kucera. “I’ve always had a place to show my work, and a lot of people to appreciate it,” he said in an interview with the Seattle PI. “Plenty of good artists can’t say that.”
