You probably already know about Ballard on the Park, which is under construction right now at the old QFC site. And you’ve seen the Alexan Ballard taking shape, that big construction project just west of 15th on Market, behind the Walgreens. But you probably don’t know about the Broadstone Ballard (pictured), a brand new project that just broke ground at 1139 NW Market, just east of McDonalds. It will bring 163 luxury apartments to Ballard in two six-story buildings. It’s just a block or so away from Sunset Bowl, which will soon become another luxury apartment complex. It’s interesting to hear everyone talk about all the new condos in the neighborhood, but as the market softens, construction has shifted to new apartments.
