“We moved back to Ballard after a decade long absence,” writes Forsher in the forum. “Now that the area is no longer ‘undiscovered’ we noticed a lot more cars, and the system of polite intersections without stop signs just doesn’t work the way it used to. Anyone interested in getting the city to begin putting stop signs in our area?” In a separate post, boardbrown asks, “How do I get a traffic circle?” As traffic increases with growth, what’s better: stop signs or roundabouts? Or nothing at all? (As AkGru pointed out in an earlier post, just be careful you don’t block traffic while watering your roundabout.)
