Mark your calendar for a great event on the evening of February 28th called “Empty Bowls.” For a minimum donation of $10, you’ll select a unique, hand-crafted bowl created by a local artist and sit down for a dinner of soup and bread. When dinner’s over, you’ll take the bowl home. All proceeds go to the Ballard Food Bank. Empty Bowls is an international project to fight hunger, personalized by artists and art organizations on a community level.
