Three productions by Ballard High School video students will be showcased at the 6th annual Westport Youth Film Festival in Westport, Connecticut on Friday. A public service announcement called “Don’t Spill,” a drama called “The Umbrella” and one of the NFFTY winners, a documentary called “Left Side” have all been selected to be screened. WYFF is the only film festival run by high school students, for high school students. If you can’t make it to Connecticut by Friday, these productions will be screened in the school auditorium at a showing of work by students in the BHS Video Production program on Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. There is a $5 suggested donation.

The director of “Left Side” (Esther Magasis) is such a gifted artist. She can work in any medium, and it makes me totally jealous.
