After a wet and windy week, it’s looking like we’re going to have a nice weekend.
The 14th annual Greenwood/Phinney Artwalk is from 6-9:30 p.m. Friday and 12-5 p.m. Saturday. More than 100 artists will display their work at 68 businesses along Phinney/Greenwood avenues, from 59th to 87th streets.
For all those “garage salers” out there, Satureday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. is the Whittier Heights neighborhood garage sale. Nearly 2-dozen families have signed up to hold garage sales.
Saturday evening is the Ballard ArtWalk. The map of the ArtWalk and a preview of featured exhibits can be found here (.pdf).
Don’t forget the new Ballard Corners Park is now open. Enjoy the sun and meet your neighbors this weekend.
I got to sit on the concrete sofa today for the first time. Surprisingly comfy! Plus, it invites conversations with strangers – something about the arrangement of the furniture.
Sitting in the comfy chair you get a great view of the rest of the park, including the kids running along the paths. What a lovely place to spend a warm day! Next time I'll bring my knitting. ;-)
