A few more photos we snapped around Seafood Fest this weekend…

The excellent Raggedy Anns tear up the music stage.
And a young aspiring football player tries on a Ballard helmet. Meanwhile, Seattle Times artist Gabriel Campanario was sketching scenes from Seafood Fest, and he posted them here in his blog.

By far and away, the high point of my Saturday at Seafood Fest was The Squirrels. After over two decades of spreading their unique brand of music and humor, this was their next to last show. I took a few photos of their set yesterday, here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/marywit/sets/72157…

My high point is always the Purrfect Pals kittens. But The Squirrels (and, of course, El Vez) rocked too. :-)
El Vez rocked the crowd! We always love to see the free entertainment at the Seafoodfest. As usual, the salmon was heavenly. For the first time in many years, we rode the metro. That worked out great except one bus never showed up so we met some nice folks at the bus stop while waiting.
Hey! That's my boy trying on that helmet! Can I get a high res version of the picture?
