At 12:30 this morning, a car crashed into the building at 6006 Seaview Av NW.
Residents who live in the building heard, and some felt, the impact. One neighbor who lived just above says, “It was a loud noise in the middle of the night. Looked out the window and saw the top of the car.” Silver posted in the forum that the passenger of the vehicle was taken to the hospital.

“Honey, did you hear something?”
“Probably just the wind. Either that or a Volvo.”
The building was not wearing a helmet and as such must have been at fault.
Buildings are known for jumping out in front of cars. Other recent cases have been seen in Fremont and in Ballard at Market and 24th. We should license buildings so they will stop getting hit by cars.
…and the Wind Cries….Volvo…..!
Volvo: They're boxy, but they're safe.
I just saw this link on yahoo news…. nice work myballard for all your great content and eyes on our neighborhood….
Too much Absolut, yaw.
See? Even the cars of Ballardites dislike the condos…
there was another incident at 5303 shilshole at 3:45. wow, our crews were busy last night!
All the old Volvos are committing suicide since Outbacks and Foresters have become the defacto fleece and sandals carriers.
Outbacks and Foresters are no match for The Mighty Flash!
(Pay no attention to him, Flash. You're still the prettiest.)
