It’s a busy weekend in Ballard and it looks like mother nature might cooperate for the outdoor activities.
Tonight is the Whittier Heights Salmon Feed from 5:30 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m.Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. is the annual Ship Canal Clean Up at Fishermen’s Terminal. Volunteers will be furnished with all necessary equipment and provided a spectacular salmon BBQ lunch.Starting at 3 p.m. Saturday is Reverb Fest at ten music venues in Ballard.The Ballard Community Center 4-H club is holding a flea market on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held in the Ballard Community Center gym (6020 28th Ave NW).The Nordic Heritage Museum will celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the Museum’s founding with a gourmet dinner will be prepared by world-renowned special guest chef Ludger Szmania of Magnolia’s famous Szmania’s restaurant.
