Police say the man accused of stabbing a manager at the Matador earlier this month has been arrested.
According to the SPD Blotter, officers from the Anti-Crime Team arrested the 28-year-old in Ballard last night at 10:45 without incident. He was booked into the King County Jail on a felony assault and felony identity theft warrant.

Awesome! I'm so glad that this one is off the streets!!
Way to go, SPD!
This guy was really ballsy to actually come back to Ballard…or really stupid. My vote is for the latter. Nice job SPD!
“Caught in Ballard”…..this should be a t-shirt for the new criminal and vagrant class that is moving in.
I guess you have to be a moron to be a member of the criminal class.
Yeah, pretty strange to just come back “to the scene of the crime”. May have watched too much tv where the culprit blends into the city. I'm glad he was caught.
what's the big blue? UK?
Does this guy live here? Well, lived here as his new address is King County Jail.
Ballard's Most Wanted
Actually, yes this guy does live in (or at least near) Ballard. He is regularly seen playing pool at the Old Pequliar. Not to sound like a cliche, but he always seemed like a pretty nice guy.
…until he stabbed someone, held up the knife screaming, and ran away.
Does anyone have the latest info on the condition of the victim? Just wondering.
Talked to one of the bartenders a week or so ago and he said the victim was doing fine…he actually came back to the Matador from the hospital on the night of the attack to assure the rest of the staff he was okay
/laugh at stabber
Glad he's locked up.
BIG BLUE is the nickname of the team that pulled off the greatest upset in Super Bowl history…
I wouldn't be so quick to laugh if I were you. From what I here, this guy has plenty of friends here in Ballard still on the street. Don't forget, they never caught this guy's friend who the police chased to OfficeMax only to have him slip away. I blame the CRACK PARK on Ballard + Market and the police unwilling to do anything about it.
