Basketball players with the Ballard Boys & Girls Club got a pretty cool visitor earlier this week.
The 6’4″ Seattle Storm center, Ashley Robinson, towered over the kindergarten and first graders during their practice on Tuesday. “Ashley talked with the teams and coaches and gave out a few pointers to some of the young hoopsters,” Billy Rogers of the club said. He added that as part of the Jr. Storm Youth Basketball program, the team and club work closely together on youth basketball initiatives and promoting good sportsmanship and teamwork.
