We looked out our window this morning to see a very light dusting of hail/snow on rooftops and cars in East Ballard.
It appears to be limited mostly to our neighborhood, but we saw hail on the ground in Crown Hill as well. Other areas just had a little frost. Regardless, it’s a very chilly morning and a reminder that winter is on its way.
Here’s the view from Sunset Hill Park with ominous clouds above.

Not to differ with the founding father but took a close up look and it appears that the white stuff is refrozen hail or sleet — little iceballs about twice the size of a BB. There was a lightning flash or two last night so it is probably unmelted hail.
Love that second pic! Nice job!
baby, it's COLD outside !
Uh. That top photo is the view out of OUR window…:)
I looked out ~11pm and saw clear skies. Then less than an hour later I heard the hail pounding against the window. Brr.
