The holidays can be a very lonely time for those without friends or family in the area. This year Thai Siam (8305 15th Ave NW) is once again opening their doors on Christmas day and offering a free meal to those who would not otherwise have a festive meal. We spoke with Ott, the owner, who says that last year they served nearly 700 meals. “We’re just happy we can help out,” Ott tells us. The turkey dinner will be served from noon until 2 p.m. You don’t need to get reservations, just show up. If you have questions or want more information, call Thai Siam between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., 206-784-5465. (Thai Siam is a sponsor of MyBallard.)
