The Ballard Jazz Fest is in full swing, kicking off the weekend with the Jazz Walk — 16 bands playing in 12 venues in Central Ballard.
The festival continues Saturday with the Nordic Heritage Museum concert (Claudio Roditi with Jovino Santos-Neto, and the Hadley Caliman Quartet), and the Swedish Pancake Jazz Brunch on Sunday (schedule).
The Corey Christiansen Quartet played to a packed house at Conor Byrne.
