Whether you’re into rummage sales, brats or puppets, there is something for you to do this weekend in Ballard. Here’s a look at the weekend events:
The 65th Street Co-op in Ballard will be holding their annual “Gently used kid’s gear sale” at the Community Center of the Phinney Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.Interfaith Community Church (1763 NW 62nd St) will be holding their annual church rummage sale on Saturday starting at 9 a.m.Puppets in Parks is bringing live puppetry to Bergen Place Park on Saturday for two performances of Amadoo and the Crocodile at noon and 2 p.m.Ballard Market is hosting the Redhook Bratwurst BBQ to benefit Sustainable Ballard; $3 meal includes a brat, chips and a bottle of water. The fundraiser runs from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.On Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., volunteers are invited to help trim shrubs, pull weeds and pick up garbage at the Salmon Bay Natural Area.For live music, check out the calendars for Tractor Tavern, Sunset Tavern, Picolinos, Conor Byrne and Egan’s Ballard Jam House.
