The weekend events calendar

Whether you’re into rummage sales, brats or puppets, there is something for you to do this weekend in Ballard. Here’s a look at the weekend events:

The 65th Street Co-op in Ballard will be holding their annual “Gently used kid’s gear sale” at the Community Center of the Phinney Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Interfaith Community Church (1763 NW 62nd St) will be holding their annual church rummage sale on Saturday starting at 9 a.m.

Puppets in Parks is bringing live puppetry to Bergen Place Park on Saturday for two performances of Amadoo and the Crocodile at noon and 2 p.m.

Ballard Market is hosting the Redhook Bratwurst BBQ to benefit Sustainable Ballard; $3 meal includes a brat, chips and a bottle of water. The fundraiser runs from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

On Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., volunteers are invited to help trim shrubs, pull weeds and pick up garbage at the Salmon Bay Natural Area.
