The new Crown Hill Fire Station 35 (8729 15th Ave NW) is finally done and the public has a chance to see the facility.
On Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. join Mayor Mike McGinn, fire fighters and community members for the dedication ceremony and see the new station first hand. (We recently took a sneak peek tour.)

Does anyone know if this will be an event friendly to small children? Can they climb on a fire truck for instance, or is it a more formal dedication?
Ballard New Tribune says family friendly. We’re bringing our 4-year-old.
