It’s supposed to be a beautiful, crisp fall weekend. Here are some things going on around the neighborhood.
The first Friends Webster Park cleanup will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday morning at 3025 NW 68th St. Volunteer to pull weeds, sweep the play area or haul and spread mulch. Tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite weeding tool or broom.The Market Street Singers rummage sale is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church (5710 22nd Avenue NW.)The East Ballard Community Association is hosting the biannual cleanup of 14th Ave NW from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Along with tidying up the area, they will also be doing a little gardening in the planters. Meet at Blowing Sands Glass (5805 14th Ave NW) for coffee and breakfast snacks.
