This Sunday, a new cat rescue non-profit called “Castaway Cats” will be holding an adoption event in Ballard.
According to the flyer, all the cats that are up for adoption have been rescued from a high-kill shelter in Eastern Washington. The event is from noon to 3 p.m. at All the Best Pet Care at 1901 NW Market St.

I hate those high kill shelters. seems like an oxymoron really.
