Help the Ballard Food Bank at Restaurante Michoacan (8311 15th Ave NW).
The family-owned Mexican restaurant is holding a food drive this holiday season to help families in our area. “Times are tough right now and it’s the holidays, so when we can help we like to take any opportunity to do so,” Olympia McCoy emailed us on behalf of the owner. The food drive will go until at least December 23rd. “We will be making regular trips to the food bank dropping the items off,” McCoy says. They’re hoping for both non-perishable items as well as hygiene products such as soap, shampoo and conditioner.
