Ballard’s favorite eatery is once again taking a lengthy winter break.
The sign on the Fremont Paseo.
The popular Cuban/Caribbean sandwich shop at 6226 Seaview Ave will be closed until the first of February. The Fremont location at 4225 Fremont Ave N. is also closed. Of course if you’re looking for alternatives, you can always check out the MyBallard restaurant guide.

Anybody know if any restaurants in Ballard are going to be open Christmas Eve and/or Christmas? Miss the Denny’s on 15th, even if the service was glacial on Christmas.
I’ve always been totally jealous of these guys taking the entire winter off. Where do they go?
sloop
The Lockspot.
King Falafel Grill (off of 83rd and Greenwood Ave.) is going to be open X-Mas Eve. Get your lamb on. :)
ah man, don’t go out to eat on christmas. even if the employees have to be there, they really will detest your presence. it blows to work on the holidays, give ’em a break and stay home.
another long streak. absence makes the heart grow fonder they say….ain’t that the truth.
caribbean of course!
The Lockspot looks the dirtiest joint in all of Ballard. I wouldn’t eat anything from there.
i will look into it
