A car commercial will be filming on the Ballard Bridge Sunday morning from 6 to 10 a.m. Doug du Mas, the location manager emailed us these details, “We will have the right southbound lane blocked up to the draw span and will be opening and closing the bridge several times during the shoot. Wanted to let you know that traffic across the bridge will be controlled by Seattle Police and people should expect delays. I suggest using the Fremont bridge instead during these hours.”

For a car commercial? LAME. How much are they paying the city and SPD for their time?
Maybe they’ll have the car jump the open bridge Dukes of Hazzard style!
Production companies spending money in Seattle is a good thing.
Quite a lot, actually. They also employ production crew people.
Dukes of Hazzard jumped dirt birms and cliffs in the rural countryside.
You’re thinking Blues Brothers! :)
Exactly
where is that wilderness barbie doll? doesnt she handle all of the film production in seattle?
ah so both saturday and sunday seem to be pretty effef up ’round there.
Local car dealer or national? Couldn’t they film during the night? If they have money to take over a bridge, they certainly have the money for lighting!!
Honestly, it’s a minor nuisance, and if it gives some folks some income it’s a good thing.
I think she’s got her hands pretty full at the moment.
Is his last name really Du Mas? Really? How unfortunate for him.
Only in her fevered mind.
Please tell me you’ve been sterilized.
No amount of lighting will make the environment look like daylight, at night.
Do you work at being a grumpy f*ck, or does it just come naturally?
Preening in front of a mirror? Or stealing pets?
I do believe she had a baby recently. So don’t be a hater.
Really? Are you the same Dan who bashed wilderness barbie not once but twice, above? Talk about grumpy….
Yes, babies change everything.
I can learn so very much from you, Forumposter.
