The final performances for Cabaret are this week at Ballard High School. The drama and music departments kicked off the spring musical last week to a great audience, we’re told. Here are a few pictures of the show, courtesy David Hoffman.
The final three shows are Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and can be purchased here.
Note the Cabaret is rated PG-13, for mature audiences.
I had the GREAT pleasure of seeing the show on Opening Night! Ballard has mounted and absolutely BEAUTIFUL production of this amazing show. What a gift to our community!!
Great show, Wonderful music, loved it!
Brilliant performances! It’s very challenging, in subject matter and performance, and the kids did as good a job as any community theatre production. It’s really worth seeing.
Congratulations to BHS and the cast / crew of ‘Cabaret’!
It surely take cajones to mount such a potentially controversial play in this regressive political climate. Kudos to the BHS administration for giving this the green light.
Keep up the good work, and best of luck to the students involved in the months and years ahead.!
Just noticed all the typos above… I’ll slow down next time but I guess you can tell I was EXCITED about this production!! ;-)
