It’s another big weekend in Ballard. The annual Viking Days at the Nordic Heritage Museum (3014 NW 67th St) is another tradition not to be missed.

Viking Days features all things Nordic – Scandinavian food, entertainment, craft vendors and demonstrations, Viking re-enactments, crafts for the kids and a beer garden for the adults. The free event is on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a Swedish pancake breakfast both days from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ($8 for members, $10 for non-members; $6 kids.) Saturday evening there is a salmon barbecue dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ($15 members; $18 non-members; $12 kids.)
