It was 25 years ago that the Leif Erikson Lodge was built in Ballard. On Saturday, November 1, 1986, Leif Erikson Lodge celebrated its new location with a banquet and dance.
This past Saturday, about 125 people came together to celebrate the lodge’s 25-year history with another banquet and dance.

The celebration included a big dinner, a video and photos from 25 years earlier and of course dancing.
“Everyone in this photo was involved in making the building happen back in the ‘80s and were there tonight to celebrate the 25th anniversary,” Tim Hunter tells us, who sent us these photos.
