Follow the Food – Waste in Ballard is going out of style

Lots of food goes unsold each week at the Ballard Farmers Market. This food does not go to waste. Several local non-profits benefit from the leftovers thanks to the work of Sustainable Ballard.

“Follow the Food – Waste in Ballard is going out of style” is a a multi-media presentation created by students in the University of Washington’s Entrepreneurial Journalism in conjunction with our partner, the nonprofit Common Language Project.
