If you’re looking for a good way to both get outside and volunteer in the city, look no more. Seattle Audubon’s Finding Urban Nature (FUN) is looking for volunteers to help with outdoor environmental education for third and fourth graders in northwest Seattle.
The group hopes to find volunteers who can work with small groups of four to five students for four different one hour lessons. The lessons will take place over the course of four weeks. The program needs ten volunteers at Adams Elementary, and five at BF Day Elementary.
If interested, email Seattle Audubon’s Volunteer Coordinator Marieke Stientjes Rack at mariekes@seattleauduobon.org by Monday, March 19. A volunteer and background check are required, and there are a limited number of volunteers needed.
