This Friday, bands and KEXP DJs galore will grace the streets and bars of Ballard in celebration of the Hood-to-Hood challenge. Every year, KEXP has a neighborhood pledge drive contest in which the ‘hood with the most pledges wins an all-day festival. Ballard has clutched the victory for the second year in a row, and on Friday, May 18, the station will be broadcasting from the ‘hood all day, starting at 10 a.m. at Bergen Place Park.
