Next Friday, June 1 is the Kids Helping Kids “Fun-raiser” at the Ballard Community Center, featuring local kids’ rock star Caspar Babypants. It’s a Wellspring Family Services event, put together to help raise funds and awareness to help homeless children in our community.

The night will include a performance by Caspar Babypants and classic movie shorts. Wellspring will also be collecting donations, and is asking for the following items:
- Diapers and pull-ups
- Formula (Similac)
- Toiletries and First Aid Products (toothbrushes, soap, body lotion, shampoo/conditioner, baby nail clippers, deodorant, digital thermometers, etc.)
Tickets for the event are $15, and the organization says 100 percent of the proceeds will go to benefit Wellspring’s programs for homeless children. They’ll also have a variety of donated prices to be raffled at the event. There will be kid-friendly refreshments and treats from Pepsi, Majestic Bay Theatre, Cabot Creamery, and for adults, there will be wine from Silverlake Winery and Maritime Pacific Brewing Company. The event is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Click here to buy tickets.
