The Ballard High School Earth Service Corps is putting on a Bike Drive this Friday, May 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the high school’s upper parking lot. Rafael Regan, a junior at BHS, writes that this event is for, “people to bring their old and/or used bikes they no longer need and donate them to Bike Works, an organization that repairs and gives the bikes to people and youth in need of bikes.”
The BHS Earth Service Corps is a program, “committed to the Earth,” including taking part in service activities, and even running the school’s composting program, according to their Facebook page.
