Kirke Park construction nearly complete

The finishing touches are being put on Kirke Park (7028 9th Ave NW) as crews hydro-seed the lawns and ready the play area for the opening.

Once the park is open, the P-Patch gardeners will start work on beds, compost bins and the shed area, according to Alyssa Smith from Groundswell NW.  Construction on the park started in February.
