Last night around 8 p.m., the Seattle Fire Department was called because a package of white powder was found at Card Kingdom on Leary Ave NW. No one was injured, and the powder was deemed harmless.
According to Kyle Moore from Seattle Fire, two employees said they were exposed to the white powder, so firefighters set up a decontamination scene and had medics check the people for symptoms as a precaution. The Hazardous Material team entered the building with protective suits and tested for every known dangerous and hazardous substance, according to Moore. The powder came up negative for anything dangerous or hazardous.
