On Thursday, Dec. 20, Ballard High School is hosting a night of multicultural presentations, free and open to the public. They’ll have an Aztec Danza group that will perform a ceremonial opening, followed up with Oaxacan/Zapotec singer Jacinta Fuentes Perez performing traditional Mexican music. There will then be folkloric dancing from Veracruz by the group Los Angeles de Mexico, and Northwest Coastal Native dances from the Git-Hoan Dancers.
The event is at 7 p.m. on Thursday at BHS auditorium, and is being presented by the Union Latina and Proyecto Saber.
