This Saturday, Jan. 12, is the monthly second Art Walk in Ballard. The walk starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m., and will be showcasing painting, glass art, sculpture, performances and more. This month’s walk will feature a pop-art installation by MK Barr titled “Y Home” at the Blowing Sands gallery (5805 14th Ave. NW).

Barr does art in many mediums a creates “color perspectives on the concept of home,” according to Deidre Girard, Ballard Art Walk organizer.
