Popular taco truck El Camión is opening a permanent spot, El Camión Adentro, tonight at 6416 15th Avenue NW. Owner Scott McGinnis is setting up shop in the previous location of Zesto’s and RoRo BBQ. We are excited to share this update following our post that announced the initial plans in November last year.
El Camión Adentro, translated as “the truck inside”, will give McGinnis the opportunity to expand his successful menu and to serve beer and wine. Although the crew are expanding to add the permanent location McGinnis confirms that the experience and quality will be similar to his successful taco trucks. “It’s important to me that we stick to our roots,” said McGinnis.
Customers can expect the same menu and of course some added extras. In keeping with the taco truck roots orders will be placed at a walk-up counter. Diners can expect ample space, El Camión Adentro sits 65 and also has a patio to boot.
El Camión Adentro opens daily from 8am for those fond of the popular breakfast burritos. To ease anyone’s worries McGinnis also confirmed that El Camión trucks will go on business as usual.
