Update:
We have just learned that Baxter has been found and is now safely at home. He was found by a local community member and taken to the Crown Hill Vet who identified him. His owner is very happy to have him home safely and thanks everyone for their assistance in looking for Baxter.

Local dog Baxter disappeared at approximately 6pm last night in the Whittier Heights section of Ballard. The 12 year old labrador and beagle cross wandered off near 73rd St and 8th Ave NW.
His owner described him as “medium size, part lab, part beagle, mostly black with brown face, and brown legs.” Baxter is described as a very sweet dog.
