Mayor McGinn will attend the Ballard to Downtown Transit Study Open House next Tuesday, March 12. The meeting is being held to seek public input on routes, station locations, travel patterns and other issues.
The Open House is open for all to attend and will be held at the Ballard High School Commons (1418 NW 65th St) from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. next Tuesday.
The City of Seattle partnered with Sound Transit to undertake the transit study and have questions and details to discuss with locals as the plans move forward.
“One of our top priorities, as shown in the Transit Master Plan, is a Ballard to Downtown rail transit corridor. The Transit Master Plan showed that corridor having the highest ridership potential of any route in the City,” said Mayor McGinn.
