The Ballard Library has put together a few programs for local teens, and it extends way beyond reading. They’re offering fun activities that include gaming, circus training, and a pizza party at the end of the summer.
Teen Services Librarian Lynn Miller says they’ll have First Friday Gaming today (July 5) and August 2 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the meeting room. It’s open to 6th-12th graders and will have X-box, Wii, and a collection of board games.
Teen Space, also for 6th-12th graders, will feature a Circus 101 Workshop with Teatro Zinzanni on Sunday July 21. There will also be an end-of-summer pizza party on Sunday, August 18 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the meeting room.
And, for teens who are having a hard time deciding what to read next, the Ballard Teen Advisors have put together theme-based grab bags with three titles per bag.
