Seattle Night Out is just a week away, and the East Ballard Community Association (EBCA) is hosting a huge block party for the whole community. On Tuesday, Aug. 6, they’ll be partying on 14th Ave NW from 6 to 10 p.m. between NW 59th and NW 61st, in the location of the future park. “There’ll be games for all ages, live music by Seeing Blind, goats and chickens from Seattle Farm Supply, artist demonstrations from Blowing Sands, and you can even screenprint the EBCA logo on your fave t-shirt,” the flyer reads.

This is the second year the EBCA has thrown a block party on 14th Ave NW. As part of the fun, they’re asking attendees to stop by the EBCA booth to pick up a name tag and passport; getting your passport stamped at three different activity stations will make you eligible to win a $100 gift certificate from the Ballard Market.
