Adams Elementary (6110 28th Ave NW) have kicked off their annual Penny Harvest and are looking for local support. Adams students will be collection both coins and paper money that will be donated to non-profit organizations in our community in the Spring.
The students work together to research and find the organizations they want to donate to. Last year Adams Elementary was able to give donations of $1000 to several community non-profits including the Ballard Food Bank and Seeing Eye Dog Puppies of Seattle.
The Penny Harvest is on from now until December 4th. If your child attends Adams simply send them to their classroom with the donations. Alternatively, there is a drop off container in the front office of Adams for community donations.
