Two people were rescued by Harbor Patrol after falling into the ice cold waters at Shilshole Bay in the early hours of Saturday morning. Check out more details from the SPD Blotter post below:
Two people taken to Harborview Medical Center for possible hypothermia. This morning just shortly before 4:00 a.m., two people fell off a 40 ft. boat in Shilshole bay and were unable to re-board. They remained in the water for sometime before friends decided to call 911.
The two victims stayed afloat by hanging on to ropes and life jackets that were thrown to them. A Harbor patrol unit was dispatched, as was the U.S Coastguard. The two victims were rescued and transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of possible hypothermia.
