Families Like Ours non-profit Adoption Exchange organization will be hosting a foster care and adoption information seminar on Monday, January 6 at Ballard Library (5614 22nd Ave NW). The event will start at 6 p.m. and all are welcome to attend.
Families Like Ours was founded in October 2000 and connects pre & post adoptive families with their network of adoption resources, support, education and advocacy.
The free seminar will teach participants about the ins and outs of placement agencies, types of adoption, the process, the cost of adoption and foster care and how to get started.
