Plenty of applications for developments in Ballard have been received this week by the Department of Planning and Development (DPD).
Check out the most recent decisions from the DPD as posted in the Land Use Information Bulletin:
Applications:
A Land Use Application has been submitted to subdivide the development site into two unit lots. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.
A Land Use Application has been submitted to subdivide the development site into five unit lots. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

Um…could someone please explain what “Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots” means?
Kind of weird. That 9048 15th parcel development on the ground is definitely well underway. Yet the application to split it into 5 lots has just now happened.
The house at 2031 NW 60th St has already been knocked down and development is underway.
