After a little pause last week applications for subdivisions in Ballard have been coming in this week to the Department of Planning and Development (DPD).

Applications:
A Land Use Application has been submitted to subdivide the site into three unit lots. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.
A Land Use Application has been submitted to allow two, 3-story multi-family structures with 14 dwelling units in each building (28 units total). Existing structure to be demolished. No parking proposed.
Decision:
An appealable decision has been made to subdivide one development site into five unit lots. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. Appeals of the decision must be received by the Hearing Examiner no later than March 20, 2014.
So, is the 2nd Ave NW development another microhousing building????
