The talented students at BHS opened their run of Urinetown on Thursday night and are excited to share their performances with the local community. The show will be performed over the next week on March 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Earl Kelley Performing Arts Center.
According to BHS Performing Arts, Urinetown is one of the most uproariously funny musicals in recent years. The musical is a hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love, and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. The music is fun, the characters are endearing, the costumes and choreography are really great, and the script is, reportedly, hilarious.
Tickets are available online and at the door.
Went to the show last night and the performance was incredible! Many musical numbers, group dancing, and fantastic voices. It’s not your average musical and it moves fast. Funny, sarcastic, happy and sad; it’s got it all!
Went last night and am happy to say it was a very enjoyable performance. Ursine town is a really fun show and these kids really brought it to life. The singing and choreography was high energy, and what an amazing job of costuming!
Go see it!
