According to a sign posted on the door, popular Ballard coffee spot Bauhaus Books and Coffee (2001 NW Market St) has applied for a liquor license to sell wine and beer.
The notice (see image) was posted today and further information about the application will be posted on the Washington Liquor Control Board’s website later today.
According to Bauhaus management, the coffee house is set to serve popular local beers and red and white wine. “We’re aiming to be serving wine and beer by the end of the month,” says Bauhaus manager Carrie Wallace.
Bauhaus is open Monday through Friday 6 a.m. – 12 a.m., Saturday 7 a.m. – 12 a.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. – 12 a.m.
